| Monk is an American crime drama, created by Andy Breckman and starring Tony Shalhoub as the nominal character. Primarily a mystery series, the show also features broadly comic touches. The show debuted on July 12, 2002, on the USA Network; its seventh season started July 18, 2008, and it has been renewed for an eighth and final season. The last seven episodes of season 7 began airing January 9, 2009 and finished on February 20, 2009.[1] The final season will premiere August 7, 2009 and season 7 will be released on DVD July 21, 2009 along with its thematically similar Psych.[2][3]  | |

| I watched this all the time back when I knew when it came on. Now I've kinda stopped watching because the new episodes were becoming less and less frequent. Anyways I recommend it.  | |
